This morning everyone was talking about yesterday's drop in the stock market. When I checked earlier today, the markets are down further.

The only reason I know this, though, is because I forced myself to focus on the hubbub. Generally speaking, I don't look at my stock portfolio but maybe once a month. I don't want to worry about "volatile" markets and day-by-day ups and down in stock prices, so I invest only in stocks I can ignore.
