The lifestyle you can expect in Gamboa is a mix of unadulterated tranquility and exciting adventure. Your options for outdoor activities include hiking, biking, trekking, kayaking, fishing, bird-watching, and more…and all of this along some of the most important waterways in the world. Gamboa is also home to one of the world’s most diverse aviary populations and is inhabited by hundreds of large mammals.

Gamboa town was originally erected as a place for Canal workers in 1911. It has undergone many changes since, becoming, at one time, a bustling “Canal Zone” township but losing much of its population and funding when the United States turned authority for the Canal over to Panama in 1999. Gamboa today is a sleepy community nestled among rolling hills of dense jungle.

A few minutes away, but a whole world apart, Gamboa presents an ideal balance of modern convenience and quaint jungle tranquility.
