Inside Panama’s Property Market Via Access Panama Tours

Look What Our Panama Staff Got Up To While Lief And I Were Away

Back in the office in Panama after 10 weeks on the road, what’s new, I wondered of our Panama City staff over lunch today…

Since we’ve been gone, we were told, a new access road has opened, cutting the travel time from Panama City to Tocúmen International Airport…

Panama City taxi drivers have filed an official complaint against Uber, which is flourishing here and interfering, cabbies say, with their trade…

A new law was passed last month making it illegal for restaurants in Panama to add an obligatory tip to the bill (as many had begun doing). Tipping is again voluntary, not mandatory, country-wide. Lief was particularly happy to hear this piece of news.

Lief and I both were interested to hear from an investor friend who monitors the Panama City property market closely that values on Avenida Balboa are up nicely. Our rental apartment on Balboa, our friend got in touch to tell us, is worth at least US$2,600 per meter (we paid US$1,225 per meter). He wondered if we might be interested in selling…

Nah, Lief and I decided after a quick discussion. The place has been 90%+ rented since we bought it in 2007, generating a double-digit yield and appreciated cash flow year after year. Plus, we see its value continuing to appreciate for the foreseeable future.

If we sold it, we’d only want to buy something else more or less in the same location!

In related news, while Lief and I have been out of the office, our team here has pushed ahead in our absence to follow through on an idea we had earlier this year—our new Access Panama Property Tour program.

If you’re interested in getting to know the Panama property market better, with the help of insiders who know this market from extended firsthand experience, our Access Panama Property Tours could help.

These personal property tours are a unique opportunity to explore your options for living, investing, owning property, and starting a business in this country, while putting yourself on a fast-track learning curve for Panama real estate markets.

This boutique tour of Panama City and the nearby City Beaches area includes a half-day seminar with Panama experts and expats, followed by two-and-a-half days of all-inclusive property visits.

The program is entirely turnkey. Our in-country team manages all meals on the days of the tour and accommodation, as well as all transport… from the day you arrive at the airport to your trip back to catch your return flight home.

This is the type of tour we wish someone had offered us when we first bought in Panama. Our team has taken time to fully vet each property opportunity, ensuring a high standard of quality. And, as important, they’ve made sure that we are getting the best prices available, with no exceptions.

In fact, in some cases, we’ve managed to get exclusive financing options available nowhere else.

We’ve intentionally limited the number of seats for each of these private tours. Our objective here is highly personalized concierge service.

Our team will be with you at all times, allowing you to take your time, to ask your questions, and to hear actionable information and advice.

Plus you’ll get the lowdown on how, where, and why to live or invest in Panama from our team of resident experts.

We’ve scoured the top options in the City Beaches area, the stretch of the Pacific coast nearest to Panama City. This is the place for the best of both worlds—a new life or second home at the beach that’s within easy commuting distance of cosmopolitan Panama City, with its restaurants, nightlife, and shopping.

This one-of-a-kind concierge tour will show you how to…

  • Get into a beachside condo in Panama’s most sought-after Pacific coast community for as little as US$225,000…
  • Access hassle-free and exclusive developer financing on a wide variety of gated communities and coastal high-rises…
  • See firsthand a suburban slice of Americana right outside the city… where investors are hauling in high-yield returns by renting out to foreign corporate executives…
  • Lock down easy retirement income with a turnkey organic agricultural investment with annualized returns of 16% for at least 15 years—and up to even 60 years—with a remarkably low point of entry…
  • Explore a second home or investment play in a golf development with some of the best golfing and sport-fishing on the planet at your doorstep…

Here’s what’s included with your registration fee:

  • First-day seminar on the how’s and why’s of Panama…
  • Accommodation all four nights on the beach at the 5-star Casa Bonita at the Westin Playa Bonita Resort in Veracruz…
  • Transportation throughout your stay…
  • English-speaking guides throughout…
  • Personal one-on-one investment consulting with Evie Brooks, the former Rich Dad Poor Dad Elite Training Educator…
