Beer Tastings And Backyard Profits—Perks Of The Self-Sufficient Life
“They’re thinking of turning the peasant into an educated man. Why, first of all they should make him a good and prosperous farmer and then he’ll learn all that is necessary for him to know.”
Last week I was in San Ignacio, in the heart of Belize’s Cayo District, for our first Self-Sufficiency Seminar.
I’ve been to this part of Belize before… but this chance to explore more of the self-sufficient way of living was truly mind-opening and a lot of fun.
We were delighted to have brewing instructor Rick Prondzinski join us.
Because he’d been traveling, Rick had been unable to take me up on my initial invitation to speak. But, Thursday morning, in walked Rick… home brew in hand. No complaints from attendees about the last-minute schedule change—or the opportunity to taste beer at 10 a.m…
But this is life in Belize. Schedules—and time in general—don’t hold much sway…
If you’re at all interested in this part of the world… or in living more independently… enjoying more freedom… and earning an income from your backyard… it would be a shame for you to miss out on all the ideas and opportunities we shared last week.
So, as always, I’ve arranged for you to get access to our full set of recordings. More on this in a minute.
Remember, self-sufficiency can be achieved from the comfort and convenience of your own home and garden, in whatever form and to whatever level you choose. And this is a unique program for you to learn everything you need to know to realize all of the benefits of the self-sufficient lifestyle… your way…
Maybe you yearn for the idyllic peace and quiet of the countryside and yesteryear. Or you appreciate the great satisfaction that comes from doing things for yourself and knowing your destiny is in your own hands.
Maybe you long to walk into your pantry and see shelves fully stocked with the nutritious and delicious fruits of your own labor—and to know deep down that whatever may come you’ll be okay.
Resilience, satisfaction, financial gain, and personal pride are only a few of the advantages of the self-sufficient lifestyle. If any of these feelings and ideas resonate with you, then you’ll be very interested in the information shared during last week’s Self-Sufficiency Seminar.
The self-sufficiency experts we heard from detailed everything you need to know to develop your own self-sufficiency strategy, taking advantage of the most up-to-date and sophisticated technologies available… going as big or as low-key as you want…
The program showed us how much land you need to enjoy the benefits of self-sufficient living and how big an investment is required. In fact, you don’t need much of either—not land nor capital—to be able to grow enough food yourself to feed a family of four, for example.
We learned about keeping livestock, too. Sheep and goats are herd animals, so you don’t want just one of each. You want two or three. They get along so they can be penned together.
We watched presentations on preparing home remedies using plants and herbs you grow yourself.
Income generation isn’t something you typically think of when you hear mention of self-sufficiency. But those we know who are living this lifestyle—like Con Murphy who headed up this event (and who you’ll hear from in the kit)—maintain that the more you embrace a self-sufficient lifestyle, the more money you can make. And, if you’re considering making the leap to a fully self-sufficient life, your earnings could be considerable… even with just 7 to 14 hours of work from your own backyard…
