Bugs, Mosquitos, Malaria, And Yellow Fever In Medellin, Colombia

Colombia has mosquitoes and malaria and yellow fever, but those things aren’t likely to be found in the mountains around Medellín.

Medellín is in the no-transmission part of the country, which is only in the high mountain areas.

The yellow fever map is here, showing again that Medellín is outside the zone requiring the vaccine.

Finally, I have to say that I did see a mosquito one time in Medellín, but it looked lost.
