Panama’s GDP In 2013

“Kathleen, interesting article on the economic situation in Panama.

“However, your GDP number is a bit too low.

“According to Wikipedia, which has four different stats on GDP, Panama has a GDP of US$16,615 (2012) according to the World Bank, US$15,617 (2012) according to the World Monetary Fund, US$15,900 according to the CIA, and finally US$11,803 (2010) according to University of Pennsylvania.

“The true GDP is probably somewhere between your number (US$14,000) and the World Bank’s number US$16,615.”
