“Also, I loved what you wrote earlier this week, about the ‘idea of America.’ What the idea of America means and that the idea is portable. That the best place to put the idea into practice is not always in the United States.
“I also like what you said about Americans still being good problem solvers. That is very different than the prototypical crap that one hears that Americans are ‘entrepreneurial.’ If you look at the index on entrepreneurialism, the United States is way behind and has been for years. That is a myth. But the idea of being into doing things for oneself and being a problem solver is no myth.”
