If you happen to be in Cali, Colombia this month be on the lookout for celebrity sightings as some of the biggest names in Hollywood head to Colombia’s salsa capital.
But literally, these will be some of the biggest celebrities you have ever seen as they are enormous sculptures created by an anonymous artist.
The sculptures include a 9 meter (30 foot) statue of Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson. The other statues are better known by their Latin American audience: iconic Mexican comedy character “el Chavo del Ocho,” Cuban salsa legend Celia Cruz, and Heriberto de la Calle, a comedic character created by Colombian journalist, Jaime Garzon. The display will be going on until March 31 at the Chipichape Shopping Center.
