Huge Controversy In Denmark Over New Nudity Show

Denis Foynes – “We have a program that reveals what men think about the female body. Quite honestly, what is wrong with that?”DR2 channel producer Sofia Fromberg passionately explained.

A new show in Denmark, entitled “Blachman”, is causing a huge stir in the country and across the world. In the show a woman, aged 28-85, stands naked in front of fully-clothed men and has to remain silent as those men talk about her body. Afterwards, the women gets paid US$300 for her appearance.

Danish comedian and feminist, Sanne Sondergaard, is outraged. “In Denmark, sexism is not an issue,” she declares. “And then this show came along. It’s sexist rubbish. “I’m sorry but even if he says nice things, a man is not entitled to comment on my body, just because I’m a woman!”

The host of the show is jazz musician and claims to have created the “genius concept.” He claims the aim of the show is to “stir discussion about the aesthetics of the female body without allowing the conversation to become pornographic or politically correct.”

He went on, “I told them the entire idea of the show is to let men talk about the bodies of naked women while the woman is standing right in front of them. The female body thirsts for words. The words of a man. And they went for it.”

While the show has received a record number of complaints, it is also pulling in huge viewing numbers. However, as of yet, it hasn’t been re-commissioned for another season.
