The National Bank of Belize opened the doors of its second branch in Belize City today. Its grand opening was done with much fanfare and pomp, not unlike the Belmopan branch did two years ago—steel band and dignitaries galore.
The charter branch of the bank opened in Belize’s capital, Belmopan, exactly two years ago. The mandate was clear-cut: the provision of mortgage financing, primarily to public officers, but also to low- and middle-income Belizeans.
The move to Belize City was a natural progression for this bank, it has outstripped all client expectations.
