Work Resumes On The Panama Canal


After the Panama Canal expansion being put on pause for a few weeks, construction has finally resumed.

The Panama Canal Authority announced on Thursday, February 27 that they had come to an agreement with Sacyr, the Spanish company constructing the new set of locks, to maintain the original contract price.

Work had originally been halted after Sacyr claimed they needed an $1.6 billion to complete the project.
