The Most Important Retire Overseas Event Of The Year—This Week In San Antonio
I will be mercifully brief this morning. Lief and I and our entire Panama City-based conference team are on our way today to San Antonio. There we’ll connect with more than 60 expats and experts, colleagues and friends flying in from across the globe to join us in presenting, to the more than 250 readers in attendance at this week’s Retire Overseas Conference, the world’s top 22 retirement havens…from Panama to France, Ecuador to Malaysia, Belize to Thailand, Uruguay to the Philippines, Ireland to Vietnam…and beyond.
The big event is taking place at the Embassy Suites Hotel on San Antonio’s famous River Walk. For three full days, starting bright and early Wednesday morning, we and our entire Live and Invest Overseas team—including Latin America Correspondent Lee Harrison, Asia Correspondent Wendy Justice, and Europe Correspondent Jocelyn Carnegie—will showcase for all assembled the best places worldwide to think about living or retiring overseas.
We’ll be supported by expats from our favorite overseas retirement havens, including Phil Hahn (Belize), Mike Cobb (Nicaragua), Rich Holman (Colombia), Steve Rosberg (Argentina), Nikki di Girolamo (Italy), James Archer (Brazil), Janine Goben (Honduras), Jim Hardesty (Mexico), and others, who will share their personal, firsthand accounts of why, how, and where they’ve decided to retire overseas.
Also on stage with us will be the world’s most expert team of global advisors, headed up by international asset protection and structures advisor Joel Nagel.
Lief and I have been looking forward to this chance to regroup in person with all these normally far-flung friends for months. We’re off to the airport now and will be in touch again soon, live from San Antonio.
