Louise Cooper is a British architectural designer with a master's degree from the University of Edinburgh. For the last year she has been designing homes for Carmelita Gardens, a sustainable riverfront community in San Ignacio, Belize. She discovered and fell in love with Belize during a three-month trip around Central America in 2020. Louise has now spent six months living in the country taking projects from concept to construction at Carmelita Gardens. She is a keen traveler and splits her time between San Ignacio and Europe, where she continues to work remotely on the project.
