Taran Hewitt is a retired engineer who has always enjoyed seeing the world and telling tales about his travels to friends and acquaintances. Born and educated in England, Taran has lived in Nigeria, Kuwait, and for many years in Canada. He now lives in Southern California with his wife, Celine, who gave him the inspiration and encouragement to put those tales down on paper. He has now started a blog about their travels together (http://www.taranstales.net), beginning with their search for a new place to build a nest more suited to their European origins. Taran is also in the early stages of writing about his adventurous life, initially in blog form, but with the hope that one day the posts may be published as a complete memoir.
