Images of Ireland

The Emerald Isle has been captivating visitors with her natural beauty for ages now… whether you visit the stunning and dramatic cliffs of Moher, snorkel for hidden treasures in Coral Beach, or satisfy the cravings of your inner bookworm by visiting the 200,000 books in Trinity College in Dublin, there is beauty everywhere.

Whatever you´re looking for, you can probably find it. If you want to explore the ruins of an ancient castle you can go to places such as;

  • Dunluce Castle – This castle was built in the early 16th century and is perched above the dramatic cliffs of north County Antrim. It overlooks the famous Mermaid Cave and is also recognizable by fans of Game of Thrones for being the home of House Greyjoy
  • Ballycarberry Castle – as a testament to the violent history of this country, this castle is mostly in ruins with just a few walls still standing.
  • Rock of Cashel – This is one of the most well-preserved castles in Ireland and it is absolutely stunning. It is made of several different medieval structures and being built on a hill overlooking the region gives it a sense of power and domination over the area.

But there is far more than just castles on this island, there are all sorts of natural splendors, ancient villages and modern sights to take in.
